The Story

ArmoredGate started with a simple frustration: why are containers so bloated? A basic web server shouldn't need 500MB of dependencies, and deploying shouldn't mean waiting for huge images to transfer.

We asked: what if we started from scratch? What if containers contained only what they need — nothing more? What if security wasn't bolted on, but built in from the kernel up?

"We didn't want to patch the old way of doing things. We wanted to rethink containers from first principles."

The result is Volt: a unified platform that produces images 95%+ smaller than Docker equivalents, boots in under a millisecond, and runs with hardware-level isolation by default.
